To borrow a line
from Tere Mere Beech Mein, one would
have to literally be silly to skip the track from Shuddh Desi Romance.
It was the longest of the four tracks from the film on this blog – it was four minutes and a dozen seconds long.
The track, which celebrated those who use khaddar (khadi) ke chaddars (blankets), but who have resham (silk) ke armaan (dreams), was penned by Jaideep Sahni.
It was composed by Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, rendered by the two Chauhans – Mohit and Sunidhi. Needless to say, they aced it.
