My blog on the
music of Hindi films released in the 1990s contained a post on Ladki Ladki, from Shreeman Aashique (1993). The track was inspired by Algerian
artiste Khaled’s 1992 track Didi.
Dil Cheez Tujhe De Di, from Airlift (2016), was another adaptation of the international hit.
It was the joint-shorter of the three songs from the film on this blog – it was four minutes and 31 seconds long.
Kumaar penned the track.
Tiwari’s involvement in (Ank)it wasn’t restricted to composing it, but he rendered it too.
Arijit Singh joined him behind the microphone.
