Peppered with
English words (and of course, a smattering of Punjabi ones, keeping in mind the
formula for a chartbuster today), Paro
was certainly a hit with the age group it targeted – the youth.
Four minutes and 27 seconds long, it was the longer of the two tracks from Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) – the sequel to Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) – on this blog.
Penned by Kumaar, the track was composed by Hitesh Sonik [Sunidhi Chauhan’s husband and yesteryears’ composer Sonik’s (of the Sonik-Omi duo) grandnephew].
It was rendered by Dev Negi and Shipra Goyal.
