UnsurpriSing(h)ly, Sukhwinder’s rendition was superb

Gajanana was a beautiful amalgamation of Sukhakarta Dukhaharta (which could be translated to, “The giver of happiness and the remover of obstacles”) and the various names of Lord Ganesha.

It was the shortest of the five songs from Bajirao Mastani on this blog – it was three minutes and 34 seconds long.

Prashant Ingole penned the track.

It was the only song from the film on this blog that was not composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali – it was composed by Shreyas Puranik.

Its highlight was, undoubtedly, the energetic rendition by the one and only Sukhwinder Singh.
