Hero was co-produced by Salman Khan, who took the film’s debutant
leads, Sooraj Pancholi (son of actor Aditya Pancholi) and Athiya Shetty
(daughter of Suniel Shetty), under his wing.
And he probably enjoyed the mentor’s role so much that he assured them of it by rendering his version of Main Hoon Hero Tera, the title track of the film.
It certainly wasn’t outstanding, but a decent effort.
Kumaar penned the Amaal Mallik composition.
Armaan Malik sang the other version of the track.
Both the versions of the track were four minutes and 44 seconds long.
