It was indeed (Muchh)alovely number

If one listens to words like payo, laayo, gaayo, aayo and chhayo in the era of exclamations like, “Yo!”, there’s absolutely no need to worry – it is merely the feel-good title track of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and not a throwback to the days of yore, when Hindi film songs were penned by poets – although Irshad Kamil, who penned this track, is one.

The only solo by a female singer on the film’s soundtrack, it was rendered by Palak Muchhal.

The track, which was five minutes and 19 seconds long, was composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
