Of the four tracks
from Shuddh Desi Romance on this
blog, its title track was the shortest – it was three minutes and half-a-dozen
seconds long.
Apart from being unabashedly desi as far as the beat was concerned, it would not be incorrect to state that the hook of the song upped the desi quotient (read: note that the word Romance was pronounced ro-maans).
It was rendered by Benny Dayal and Shalmali Kholgade, who nailed it.
The track, which gave people an opportunity to go crazy (vazy), was penned by Jaideep Sahni.
Sachin-Jigar composed it.
