Sampath S(asha)ang a rocking number

By no means would it be incorrect to state that Barbaadiyaan – the only track from Aurangzeb (2013) on this blog – was a fantastic number. But it was extremely underrated.

Ram Sampath, who had acquired a following among a niche audience, comprising youngsters with a penchant for rock music, for his quirky compositions, sang the duet.

He was joined behind the microphone by Sashaa Agha, the film’s leading lady and a chip off the old block (she is the daughter of yesteryears’ singer and actress Salma Agha).

Puneet Sharma penned the track, which Amartya Rahut composed.
