Frankly,
nobody would have given Ji Jala another listen (or even a listen, for
that matter) if it weren’t for Sunidhi Chauhan's rendition.
It was the
only track from Pankh, which released in 2010, on this blog.
While it
was a seductive number, it wouldn’t be incorrect to state that the listeners
had a hard time deciding who was the sizzler (it was picturised on Bipasha
Basu).
The song
was penned by Sudipto Chattopadhyay, who directed the film, which was produced
by Sanjay Gupta, whose films have usually boasted of chartbusters.
Raju Singh
composed it.
