Mr Merchant’s rendition was (Sal)impressive

Aye Khuda, which was four minutes and 42 seconds long, wasn’t just the longest song from Paathshaala (which released in 2010), but it was the only track from the film on this blog too.

Primarily targeted at youngsters, there’s no two ways about the fact that Mr Merchant’s rendition didn’t fail to (Sal)impress them.

Hanif Shaikh’s involvement with the track, which was soothing, wasn’t restricted to penning it, but he composed it too.

The soundtrack featured a remixed version of the song. Five minutes and 29 seconds long, it was the longest of the remixes.
