It wasn’t a bawdi traCK

Bawdi is Hindi for a stepwell from which villagers draw water.

It was the subject of Hum Toh Apni Bawdi Lenge, a catchy track from Well Done Abba, which released in 2010.

It was the joint shortest – and the most popular – song on the soundtrack of the film – it was three minutes and 32 seconds long.

The song, which was penned by Ashok Mishra, was composed by Shantanu Moitra.

Of course, the latter’s partner in rhyme, Swanand Kirkire, wasn’t left out – he was credited as one of the two crooners, the other being Mohit Chauhan.
