Darling – the only song from 7 Khoon Maaf (2011)* on this blog – was
inspired by a Russian folk song titled Kalinka.
It was rendered by Rekha Bhardwaj and Usha Uthup.
The song, which was penned by the one and only Gulzar, was composed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
It was three minutes and 27 seconds long.
Another version of the track – titled Doosri Darling – was 23 seconds shorter.
Clinton and Francois Castellino (Cere)joined Ms Bhardwaj and Ms Uthup behind the microphone.
(*Note: The film was an adaptation of Susanna's Seven Husbands, a short story by Ruskin Bond.)
