My blog
dedicated to Hindi film music of the 1950s contained a post on Jaata Kahan Hai Deewane, from C.I.D., which released in 1956.
The track was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed by O P Nayyar.
It contained a word that was meaningless – Fifi.
The word inspired the title of the recreated version of the track, which was credited to none other than Mikey McCleary, and was the shorter of the two tracks from Bombay Velvet (2015) on this blog – it was three minutes and 16 seconds long.
It was rendered by Suman Shridhar.
