With four VoiceS, MiRth ensued

Hunter was the shorter of the two tracks from the first part of Gangs of Wasseypur (which released in India in June 2012*) on this blog – it was four minutes and 17 seconds long.

Barring the line that went, “Hum hain sikari”, and a few subsequent verses, it was an English track that was penned by Varun Grover, who is also a noted stand-up comic.

It was rendered by a quartet, comprising Rajneesh, Munna, Shyamoo and Vedesh Sookoo.

Sneha Khanwalkar composed the track.

(*Note: It was screened at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight in May 2012.)
