ThiS(o)number was short and sweet

If the four tracks from Veer (2010) on this blog were arranged in alphabetical order, Meherbaniyan would be the first.

Incidentally, it was also the shortest – it was four minutes and 29 seconds long.

The Son(u)g happened to be the only solo among the four tracks – it was rendered by the one and only Mr Nigam.

It was composed by Sajid-Wajid, the beneficiaries of (Sal)many a meherbani of Mr Khan.

Interestingly, it was penned by the one and only Gulzar.

It was one of the two songs in the film that didn’t have another version.
