The only song from
Satyagraha – The Revolution Has Begun
(2013) on this blog was based on Raghupati
Raghava Raja Ram, the bhajan
popularised by Mahatma Gandhi.
It was the title track of the film.
Five minutes and a dozen seconds long, it was the longest of the three tracks on its soundtrack that were composed by Salim-Sulaiman.
The track was rendered by three singers – Rajiv Sundaresan, Shivam Pathak [who was one of the top five in the fifth season of Indian Idol (2010)] and Shweta Pandit.
It was penned by none other than Prasoon Joshi.
