The Vi(sh)(oc)alists (Suni)d(h)id it justice

This blog contains posts on four tracks from Ishaqzaade, which released in 2012.

If these were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, Chhokra Jawaan would be the first.

As the title suggested, the song, which was five minutes and 11 seconds long, celebrated a boy’s coming of age.

Habib Faisal, the director of the film, penned the song, which was his only contribution to the soundtrack.

The track was right up the alley of Sunidhi Chauhan, who rendered it. She was joined behind the microphone by Vishal Dadlani.

It was penned by Amit Trivedi.
