The listeners were (Trive)digging (Am)it

Tai Tai Phish is usually used to imply zilch, but the track of the same name from Chillar Party, which released in 2011, went on to become very popular (thanks, partly, to the fact that it featured item boy Ranbir Kapoor).

The song, which was three-and-a-half minutes long, was composed by Amit Trivedi, who penned it with Nitesh Tiwari, who was one of the two directors of the film.

In fact, Trivedi’s involvement with the song didn’t end with the aforementioned departments. He rendered it too.

He was joined behind the microphone by Jaishri Trivedi.
