Singh sang ABout an icon

There’s no two ways about the fact that Amitabh Bachchan – a.k.a. the Big B – is a legend.

So it was in the fitness of things that he become the subject of a song.

The track in question was Bachchan. It was the shorter of the two songs from Bombay Talkies on this blog – it was four minutes and half-a-dozen seconds long.

It was rendered by the one and only Sukhwinder Singh.

Incidentally, the song, which was interspersed with the iconic actor's lines, was penned by his namesake, Amitabh Bhattacharya.

(Am)It was composed by Mr Trivedi.
