Shilpa's version was R(a)ocking vocking

There were a couple of versions of the title track of English Vinglish (2012), but this blog contains a post on the female version (a.k.a. English Vinglish-I).

It was rendered by Shilpa Rao.

The longer of the two versions, it was four minutes and 34 seconds long – just a couple of seconds longer than the male version of the track, which was rendered by Trivedi, who also composed (Am)it.

Incidentally, it was also the longer of the two tracks from the film on this blog.

The track was penned by none other than Swanand Kirkire.
