The title track of
Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013) was
the shorter of the two tracks from the film on this blog – it was three minutes
and 52 seconds long.
It was a male
duet. One of the Sing(h)ers was the one and only Sukhwinder.
The other was
Ranjit Barot, better known for his virtuosity as a percussionist and composer
of background scores.
The track was
composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, who co-produced and directed the film, besides
sharing the credits for penning its story and screenplay.
Needless to say,
it was penned by Gulzar.
