Mr Dadlani’s V(ish)(oc)als were ‘punch’y

Mary Kom, which released in 2014, was the biopic of India’s legendary boxer, who is one of the country’s most underrated sportspersons.

This blog contains a post on just one track from the film – Ziddi Dil.

It could be translated to a stubborn heart, which is what earned her six AIBA World Amateur Boxing Championship titles.

The song – which was four minutes and 46 seconds long – was, incidentally, the longest song in the film.

It was penned by Prashant Ingole.

The Shashi Suman composition was rendered by Vishal Dadlani, whose vocals undoubtedly packed a punch.
