It wasn’t JuSt another fusion

If the five tracks from Daawat-E-Ishq (2014) on this blog were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, its title track would be the first.

It was, incidentally, the longest too – it was five minutes and 20 seconds long.

There’s no two ways about the fact that the song was a perfect amalgamation of two distinct genres of music – qawwali and rock.

It was rendered by Javed Ali and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Kausar Munir penned the track, which Sajid-Wajid composed.

There was an instrumental version of the track, which was a minute and 50 seconds long.
