Samjhawan, from Humpty Sharma Ki
Dulhania, was recreated by Sharib and Toshi Sabri.
It was an adaptation of Main Tenu Samjhawan, a Jawad Ahmad composition from the Pakistani Punjabi film Virsa (2010).
While Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Farah Anwar sang the original, the Indian adaptation – which Ahmed Anees and Kumaar penned – was rendered by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.
The longest of the three tracks from the Alia Bhatt-starrer, it was four minutes and 29 seconds long.
Incidentally, Bhatt rendered the Unplugged version of the track, which was three minutes and 36 seconds long.
