from Hindi films released between 1987 and 1989 contained a post on Aaj Phir Tumpe, from Dayavan (1989).
The soundtrack of Hate Story 2, which released in 2014, featured a decent recreation of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal composition. The duo, and Aziz Qaisi (who penned the original), were credited.
It was the longer of the two tracks from the film on this blog – it was four minutes and 21 seconds long.

Arko Pravo Mukherjee didn’t just compose the new version, but also penned it.
