Chetan paid homage to (Shashit)alegend

Chetan Shashital, a.k.a. The Big C, is one of the best-known dubbing artistes in India, in addition to being a singer.

He rendered Saigal Blues, from Delhi Belly.

The track, which was both an attempt to impersonate and pay tribute to the legendary K L Saigal (who wasn’t just one of the most prominent playback singers of the 1930s and 1940s, but also an actor), was three minutes and 56 seconds long.

Incidentally, Shashital was also credited as one of the two men who penned the track. The other was Ram Sampath, who composed it.
