young Mr Malik was a rising star in the field of music composition when Roy released, he wasn’t helming entire
film soundtracks.
But his compositions were certainly becoming popular. Sooraj Dooba Hai – his only contribution to the soundtrack of the aforementioned film – was a case in point.
The track, which was penned by none other than Kumaar, was four minutes and 24 seconds long.
No prizes for guessing that its male portion was rendered by Arijit Singh.
He was joined behind the microphone by Aditi Singh Sharma.
