(Dix)It was a bilingual tracKK

Although the rap numbers on the soundtrack of Gully Boy were instant mood-lifters, its most underrated track (pun intended) was titled Train Song.

The longest of the seven songs from the film on this blog, it was three minutes and 58 seconds long.

Karsh Kale, MIDIval Punditz (which comprises Delhi-based musicians Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj) and Raghu composeD(ix)it.

Kale – who happened to be a member of the quartet who penned it* – and Dixit rendered the bilingual track.

[*Note: The others were Javed Akhtar (the father of Zoya Akhtar, the film’s director) and MIDIval Punditz.]
