Divine’s intervention helped rapper Ranveer

This blog contains posts on seven tracks from Gully Boy, which released in 2019, and was about a street rapper from Mumbai.

If they were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, Apna Time Aayega would be the first.

It was two minutes and 20 seconds long.

Ranveer Singh, the film’s protagonist, was credited as one of the two people who rendered it.

But by no means would it have been possible without Divine’s (a.k.a. Vivian Fernandes) involvement.

He penned it (with Ankur Tewari), composed it [with Dub Sharma (a.k.a. Siddharth Sharma)], and sang it.
